FRANCINE CAVANAUGH and ADAMS WOOD have been making films together for over 15 years. Their film ON COAL RIVER premiered at AFI/Silverdocs, and was official selection of over 30 other film festivals including Hamptons International Film Festival, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and MountainFilm in Telluride. Nominated for an IFP/Gotham Award, the film went on to air on Outside Television, screen on Capitol Hill, and at film venues in over 70 cities across the US. Their previous film, BOOM - THE SOUND OF EVICTION (Directed with A. Mark Liiv,) followed the social repercussions of San Franciscoʼs dot-com boom and bust. They are currently working on their third feature together.
FRANCINE CAVANAUGH has also served as Distribution/Outreach Producer with GURUKULUM (Santa Barbara Film Festival, 2014) and produced the Greenpeace Postcards From Climate Change Student Film Contest. As a Director/Producer/DP, ADAMS WOOD has contributed to many other documentary films and news programs, and worked for clients including Greenpeace, American Express, and New Belgium Brewing.
